GDR Enterprises, with the consulting services of Mike Gorman Engineering, and its internal resources through the Marine Group of Companies, has worked with the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Authority to complete a 20,000 square-foot warehouse facility to service the Acute Care center. This warehouse is located on Tipping Drive, Corner Brook, adjacent to Lewin Parkway; the site is in an industrial area to best service its clients and users. The structure will provide functional warehousing, parking, and unloading bays for transport equipment. It is designed to keep functionality and the environment in mind with the intent to ensure proper heating, cooling, and lighting are installed. Services rendered include full civil and engineering design through design development, construction administration, and commissioning. The project was completed in 2023 and is now leased by NL Health Services, functioning in line with its intended purpose of distribution building.
